I find it immature and annoying when someone obtains your phone number through a mutual friend. A few questions run through my head when this happens…
Which one of my friends would think it’s ok to give my number away like that?
Why didn’t this person have the decency (balls) to ask me for my number directly?
Does this person really believe I will return their call based on how they obtained my number in the first place?
The proper and mature way to get my number is to just ask. Even if I don’t want to give you my number, I will at least have more respect for you for asking me directly. Capisce?
